Seychelles China Day celebrations

Members of the public will be able to buy a variety of Chinese food and crafts this Saturday, and join in the celebrations for the Chinese New Year and the long-standing friendship between Seychelles and China.

This will be through a bazaar which will be held on January 14, 2023, as from 2pm, at the National Museum of History, Victoria.

The bazaar is being organised by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and Chinese Association of  Seychelles, in collaboration with the Seychelles National Institute for Culture Heritage and the Arts, and the Creative Seychelles Agency.

This will be the ninth year that this activity is held, but the celebrations were halted for the past three years due to Covid-19.

Details of the activity 

There will be an official ceremony which will begin at 2pm.
