The Advisory Council for the Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts

The Secretary General for the Seychelles Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, Mr. David André, along with the Permanent Secretary for the Institute, Miss Cecille Kalebi, during a meeting with the Advisory Council members for the Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts.
The members are:
Ms. Joelle Perreau
Mr. Robert Chongseng
Mr. Victorin Laboudallon
Mrs. Marie-France Macgregor
Mr. Gafoor Yakub
Mrs. Marie-Reine Hoareau
Mr. Bernardin Renaud
Mr. Tony Mathiot.
The functions of the Advisory Council are to;
(a) advise the National Institute on matters related to policies and other matters of national importance and significance affecting the Seychellois creole culture.
(b) act as a ‘think tank’ to propose solutions, debate and decide upon matters relating to the Seychellois culture.
(c) provide vision and direction for the functioning of the constituent institutions, sections and programmes of the National Institute.
