Festival Kreol Poster Launch!
The much anticipated 38th edition Festival Kreol poster was proudly launched today, on the 15th September 2023, at the Berjaya Resort on Praslin. The theme chosen this year is ‘Lave dan larivyer’.
The poster’s concept was worked on by Mr. Urny Mathiot, the senior Graphic Artist from Creative Seychelles Agency within the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, with Mr. Michel Desnousse as the talented local photographer for the project.
Adding character and foundation to the poster, our graceful models from Praslin stole the spotlight: Mrs Birdie Accouche, Mrs Nadege Medor, Miss Esther Joubert, Miss Hazel Joubert, Miss Ellah Joubert and Mr. Roland Andre (who couldn’t be present today, but was represented by Mrs Nadege Joubert).
Mr. David André, Secretary General for the Seychelles National Institute of Culture, Heritage, and the Arts, and Mr. Emmanuel d’Offay, the Executive Director of Creative Seychelles Agency, presented the Festival Kreol 38th edition portraits to the models, as well as the District Administrator for Grand Anse Praslin, Miss Chantal Laure and Mr Berty Cedras, DA for Baie Ste Anne Praslin, Mrs Betty Cedras, and Miss Junia Joubert from the Tourism Department.
Special thanks also goes to Mrs Marcella Constance for assisting during the photo session on Praslin and Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve for letting us use the beautiful venue for the photoshoot.
